I am a Senior Project Scientist and a PhD student in the Amarnath and Shashi Khosla School of Information Technology at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi where I work on automatic evaluation of the microscopic and endoscopic neurosurgical skills. I am pursuing my Phd Under the supervision of Prof. Chetan Arora and Prof. Prem Kumar Kalra.

I received my Bachelors of Engineering in Electronics and Communications from B. V. Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering and Technology, Hubballi (Autonomous college under the Visveswaraya Technological University) in 2018 with a gold medal. I worked on "motion deblurring" as a part of my Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) course, and on "classification of crowd sourced images" as a part of capstone project under the supervision of Prof. Uma Mudenagudi.

I, along with my team members, have worked on the neurosurgical microsuturing, microdrilling and endoscopic skills evaluation evaluation system, which was recognized by the All India-AIIMS research symposium of 2022, IIT Research Day of 2022 etc... It received the first Modi Prix Galien India Award for the Best Academic/Public Sector Innovation under the name "NeuroMentor". The same is presently being used in the Neurosurgery Training and Simulation Lab of AIIMS, New Delhi. With 13+ publications in top venues such as MICCAI, ICIP, NSC, etc., I have 6 years of experience in the computer vision for the medical community
